Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas is a celebration held through December 23, 2012, set into motion with the Lighting of the Square. A real home-town parade officially brought Santa to town the first Saturday in December. Plenty of other festive holiday events continue almost daily throughout December until after New Year’s with caroling, entertainment, wine sampling, live theater Christmas events. Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides through December 22nd Daily, Weather Permitting Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children (minimum of $15 per ride) and can be purchased at the Carriage. Ask about their family rate. Cash only.
Entertainment at the Holly “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Historic Holly Theater December 7-9th, 14-16th, & 21-23rd Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Holly Box Office or at www.hollytheater.com
