Dahlonega First Friday Night Concert Series Starts June 6, 2014

Come stay with us and attend The Dahlonega First Friday Night Free Concert on June 6 with 2 great bands!

Concert starts at 6:30 PM with Yahoola & BlueBilly Grit.

Opening the show will be Dahlonega’s Yahoola. Yahoola is widely known for their super harmony singing and their 10 year reputation for playing some of the best bluegrass in North Georgia.

From the side porch of an old gristmill to the main stage of The Telluride Bluegrass Festival, BlueBilly Grit has quickly become a force in Bluegrass and Americana. Their modern style, which blends these two genres of music, has a way of appealing to the newer generation of the grassroots movement and to those that have a love for the more traditional sound.

HemlockFest Coming

HemlockFest Coming

Every autumn in the peaceful hills outside Dahlonega, good folks gather for 3 days of amazing music, inspiring educational programs, primitive camping, arts and crafts, canoeing, companionship and fun.

Join us this year November 1,2 & 3!

HemlockFest is an all-ages, eco-friendly event with 100% of the proceeds aiding efforts to save our hemlock trees by minimizing the impact of the hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA), which is an introduced parasitic insect killing the hemlocks of North Georgia at an alarming rate.
